DAY 38/39 - Okanagan Wine Tour and Home Time! Sunday we woke up not quite as refreshed as we were hoping, but we were in a Super8 hotel where we heard every door slam closed through the night so that made sense. We took advantage of the hotel, showered up and got ready for our day ahead! We checked out around 11am and headed to ABC Nails downtown Kelowna. Considering today was a day of luxury and we have 2 weddings when we get home, it was time to get my nails done. After 6 weeks of roughing it and camping, they were pretty bad. And I do have a shiny new rock to show off now sooooo 😉 While I got my nails done Zack explored the downtown area and grabbed a beer. Which was $7 for a bottle of Kokanee and he was not impressed haha After that we headed to the next hotel for the night, Best Western Plus Wine Country Hotel & Suites in West Kelowna. We were also getting picked up here to start our wine tour around Okanaga...

DAY 1- OFF WE GO!!! August 04, 2018 After an amazing night out with great friends and celebrating Zacks last day at work, we're off on our adventure! First stop on our trip is Killarney Provincial Park. I grew up camping here with my family, jumping off the rocks, having campfires and portaging. Last year Zack and I spent some time up there again after many years and it's easily one of our favourite places. We are here for 3 days, and then head West early Monday morning!
DAY 4 - On the road again! This morning we said our final goodbyes to the family and left Killarney behind. It was such an incredible weekend and we are so glad we were able to begin our trip there! We headed onto the Trans-Canada highway towards our first stop in Terrace Bay. At lunch time we made a brief stop in Sault Ste Marie to stock up the cooler and have some professionally made Mortadella sandwiches, which I was not equipped to make according to Zack 😂 (Melinda is too tired, so this is Zack now. Don't worry I'll get her to proof read it so it's not riddled with spelling errors and run-on sentences). When leaving the Sault, Melinda was in utter disbelief (pun intended) when I said there was a cow statue with a massive hard on! We quickly whipped around so I could cattle the balls and take a picture before heading on our way! Just before arriving to Terrace Bay, a tragedy befell us. We we're upset about not being able to spot any wildlife thus far on ...
